Zain concludes its annual Ramadan campaign as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
Hasadnews – : As part of its sustainability strategy and corporate social responsibility initiatives, and in line with the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, Zain Jordan has successfully concluded its annual Ramadan campaign. Zain distributed Grocery shopping vouchers to underprivileged families across various governorates, aiming to ease financial burdens and support them in preparing for Ramadan Holy month.
This initiative reflects Zain’s ongoing commitment to social solidarity and its dedication to sustaining impactful partnerships that serve the local community. Zain ensured that the vouchers which are redeemable at the Military Consumer Establishment Market, were distributed ahead of Ramadan in collaboration with several organizations. This initiative allows beneficiaries to shop freely and secure essential food and household items from the Military Consumer Establishment Market’s wide network of stores, known for their competitive prices and accessibility to low-income citizens.
Reaffirming its role in supporting community, Zain Jordan has also been a key partner of Waqf Thareed since its launch in 2022. The company has contributed JD 100,000 to the initiative, enabling its expansion and sustainability. Through this partnership Thareed distributes approximately 1,000 hot meals daily to those in need in a dignified manner, with the support of volunteers and donors. Meals are provided at Waqf Thareed location in downtown Amman, near Al-Husseini Mosque.
