At Ayla, sustainability is a way of life that guides our decisions and directs our investments toward a more balanced and prosperous future.”
The 2024 Sustainability Report outlines Ayla’s most notable achievements across the areas of environment, energy, water, waste management, and biodiversity. The company succeeded in reducing energy consumption by 8 percent and increasing reliance on renewable energy sources by 12 percent, while also cutting water consumption by 25 percent through the implementation of smart irrigation systems and the reuse of treated water across green spaces and public facilities. In addition, Ayla planted more than 1,850 coral fragments as part of its marine biodiversity protection initiatives in the Gulf of Aqaba and implemented an advanced waste management system that achieved a recycling rate of 3.3 percent in its first year.
The report’s design for this year draws inspiration from the rich marine life of the Gulf of Aqaba, incorporating gradients of blue, green, and coral to reflect the harmony between people and nature.
